Those affected by the earthquake will only pay half the IBI in 2014 (13/12/2013)

The first of these amendments reflects Lorca residents in the area of ​​maximum involvement of the earthquakes in 2011 will only have to pay half the amount of 2014 IBI.

It is a measure that will save citizens about 7.5 million.

Thus a reduction of 50% of the shares of property tax for the year 2014, with the same requirements for this tax exemption regulated in Article 12 of Royal Decree-Law 6/2011 of 13 granted May, urgent measures are taken to repair the damage caused by earthquakes.

The second of these relates to the amendment of the Local Finance Law.

This is an action raised by the City to avoid deadlock in the reconstruction of buildings.

It refers in particular to the change in the tax base in the process of selling shares to the rebuilding.

If the fair value exceeds the assessed value will always prevail the lowest amount.

The third amendment relates to the reduction of 50% of the gains in the area of ​​high earthquake condition.

The purpose of this was to stimulate transactions in goods, helping to strengthen the process of physical reconstruction of the city.

Specifically, the amendment will enable the purchase and sale of both commercial low as apartments.

The City Council, in any case continue to receive 100% of the amount of goodwill, since it will be the Government of Spain who takes over 50% of the gain that individuals are going to save.

In accordance with the provisions of the municipal economic team, saving that Lorca will enjoy in this issue may reach one million euros.

Note that this bonus apply to transactions carried out for the reconstruction of the area affected by these earthquakes.
