Councilmember NGOs and Health of the City of Lorca, Antonia Lopez, Lorca has encouraged citizens to take preventive measures, meet the free services provided by the Spanish Association Against Cancer and collaborate with this group.
The municipality of Lorca has commemorated the World Cancer Day which is celebrated today with a talk held yesterday, and two information tables set by the Spanish Association Against Cancer in the Alameda of the Constitution in the San Diego Mall.
Councilmember NGOs and Health of the City of Lorca, Antonia Lopez, visited one of these tables along with the president of the group, Magdalena Lopez, who have encouraged citizens to Lorca understand and apply the tips to prevent this disease, to time they have released the free services provided by the Spanish Association Against Cancer, encouraging them to join this association.
The AECC has Narciso Yepes Street headquarters, provided by the city, and it disclosed the free services of cytology, mammography and prostate cancer screening (PSA by analyzing a small blood sample).
