The works of urban renewal in the neighborhood of La Viña can generate about 150 direct jobs (11/02/2014)

The Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, accompanied by Director General of Planning and Housing, Maria Yolanda Muñoz, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, today presided over the laying of the foundation stone of the works of urban regeneration in the neighborhood of La Viña.

Antonio Sevilla recalled during the ceremony "the importance of these actions will refresh, which can generate up to 150 direct jobs, to recover the global image of the neighborhood and economic revitalization of the city."

The renewal of the Barrio de la Viña, whose regional investment amounts to 5.8 million euros, will involve the repair and improvement of urban infrastructure for electricity, sanitation and water supply.
