The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia, in the framework of the 'MENDUIÑAS' operation is located in an area of ​​Lorca 42 bodies of sheep and goats, as well as lots of bones, and proceeded to denounce such acts a carrier of such animals suspected of violations of the Animal Health Act and the Water Act.

Thanks to the support of the Directorate General of Livestock and Fisheries of the Autonomous Community, the SEPRONA found that the remains found were from a farm of Almería and should have moved to a slaughterhouse in Sevilla, according to the documents investigated.

Evidence obtained during the investigation led to the civil guards to a resident of Puerto Lumbreras is dedicated to transporting livestock and allegedly was responsible for the abandonment of cattle, animals that never reached the destination contained in the documentation.

Research now shows that the defendant, who is engaged in the acquisition of cattle ranching and subsequent sale and delivery to slaughterhouses had chosen this place to the abandonment of animals who died during transport.
