Lorca hosts next weekend IV 'Startup Weekend' to boost regional new business projects (28/02/2014)

The City of Lorca and the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Lorca 'Guadalentin Undertakes' support this initiative that will bring together entrepreneurs with different skills, especially developers, programmers, designers and marketing people and business to work together.

Employment Councilwoman City of Lorca, Eulalia Ibarra, Juanfra Abad and Vice President of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Lorca Shire 'Guadalentin Undertakes' Miguel Angel Sola, presented the fourth edition of the 'Startup Weekend' in Region of Murcia, to be held in Lorca from 17:30 pm on Friday, 7 to 21:00 pm on Sunday March 9.

Ibarra explained that "this is a whole weekend in which entrepreneurs will meet with different skills, especially developers, programmers, designers and marketing people and business to work together and develop a startup (startup company). Passing from concept to creation of the team, making a demo and finally launching a business venture. "

The objective of this annual event is to promote the creation of innovative companies to address the current economic climate, providing networking, training and a solid multidisciplinary team through an intense learning.

Participants will begin with the presentation of ideas and projects end up exposing workers to a group of potential partners and investors and performing final prize.
