Hall, Beacon Mall Traffic and trigger the second phase of Driver Education 2014 (11/03/2014)

The main objective of the campaign which has started today and will reach 1,120 students, is to introduce children to the values ​​of road safety by enhancing the use of personal safety automation, a task that will develop with the participating schools.

The City Council Public Safety of the City of Lorca, María Belén Pérez, the Provincial Chief Traffic Murcia, Virginia Jerez, and the Managing Director of Beacon Mall, Antonio Pascual of Riquelme, have reported the launch of the second phase Driver Education Program for students and Primary Education this year in our town.

Note that this initiative is aimed at students in kindergarten and primary schools of Lorca.

At the same they will serve as faculty, the component of the Administrative Security Unit of the local police, consisting of a corporal and five agents.

This program has the support of the Directorate General of Traffic Murcia, donating teaching materials for training of students, vertical road signs and bicycles, as well as the Beacon Park Mall, facilitating the development of classroom lectures track driver education, scooters, tricycles, bicycles and school travel by bus to the mall.

Recipients of the program are students Childhood Education and Primary 1.

The methodology for this activity to complete school awareness training includes classroom, video projection, pedestrian behavior, vehicle occupant, driver, and the teaching of theoretical talk of road training, safety tips, practical training, park traffic, pedestrian behavior, practices as a driver, traffic control, and guided Beacon Mall Shopping Centre where the students activities in the same visit is displayed.

The first phase of that program was carried out between October 2013 and February 2014, being focused on secondary students.

During this period, the local police had the collaboration of the team of Apandis.
