La Casa Sefarad-Israel in Madrid has welcomed this morning the official presentation of the Jewish festival of contemporary culture "Jewish Lorca", which has been attended by the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, the Minister of Education, Universities and Culture of the Region Murcia, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, Minister of Culture of the Embassy of Israel in Spain, Ahuva Spieler and Culture Executive Casa Sefarad-Israel, Esther Bendahan.

Therefore we will cover from religious music to contemporary popular expressions Judea as songwriters, electronic music and new trends, through the sounds that make up the folklore of Israel and Sephardic music.

Programming the "Jewish Lorca", which will hold its second edition from Tuesday 17 to Saturday 21 June, contemplate the following events:
The Festival will open on Tuesday, June 17 with a performance by a string trio of the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, which will perform a concert of chamber music entitled "Entartete Musik", and will have as part Gardens Hotel Amalthea, one of the sponsors of the event.
On Wednesday, as the Castle, it will perform a show aimed at children that offer inspiration Jewish storytelling titled "Tales in the light of the seven candles" organized by the "Evoked" company Murcia.
