Campaign against the heat with the distribution of 300 bottles of water, sunscreen 300 samples and brochures (23/06/2014)

The aim is to inform the public about the recommendations to follow to avoid heat stress, as hydration, and sunburn, for which ISDIN donated samples protectors.

The Councillor for Health and Consumer Affairs Council of Lorca, Antonia Lopez, along with Mayor Alderman, Mari Carmen Ruiz, presented the annual campaign because of the wave of high temperatures expected for the summer.

Within it was installed this morning an information table in the Alameda of the Constitution in order to inform people about the recommendations to follow to avoid heat stroke and sunburn.

Lopez explained that from 11:00 to 13:00 pm 300 bottles of water, 300 samples donated by ISDIN sunscreens and brochures with recommendations to be followed by citizens before the high temperatures would share.

The mayor of Health has stated that "human exposure to high ambient temperatures may cause an alteration of our vital functions in the event that our body is not able to compensate for temperature variations.
