Half of the 293 students who obtain food handler's license with the City and make online course (22/08/2014)

Students who pass the course will receive a diploma certifying the completion of this 6 hour course by the Department of Health, which is authorized as a partner of the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Community to teach these courses.

The issues are disclosed to students are: legislation, nutrition, food contamination, preservation methods thereof, foodborne illness as poisoning and bacterial infections, viral foodborne diseases caused by fungi and other parasites or as well as preventive measures to be taken along with good health and hygiene practices.

The course tutors, who are the local vets, attend to any questions from students via email or phone.
