The municipal regulations were adopted Citizen Participation accelerates the process for the establishment of the Boards of neighborhoods and districts (02/10/2014)

It provides for the creation of 6 districts where neighborhoods and districts of our municipality are included.

Citizens elect their representatives on the boards.

The proposal has already been approved by the full City Council.

The Councillor for Citizen Participation in the city council, Ana María Lidón, has reported that the final approval to the draft Regulation of the Organic Municipal Districts awarded by the City in its latest full accelerates the process which will lead to the constitution of the various Boards of neighborhoods and districts.

This is a new impetus to the process of involving citizens and municipal devolution in which it was decided by the current municipal administration in 2007.

This Regulation projected municipal distribution in a total of 6 districts, according to different factors such as the balance of the number of inhabitants, the idiosyncratic criteria of the different areas as well as the cast set for polling stations and their own habits and customs residents in different parts of the broad Lorca municipality (including village, districts, councils and places).

This is an absolutely differentiated model of other entities (such as neighborhood associations), and does not interfere in any way in them.

Surprise at the sudden change of vote PSOE.

The Councillor for Citizen Participation expressed his surprise at the sudden change of vote PSOE at the time of the adoption of this regulation in the full City Council, as during the process of forming the same (that has lasted for many months intense meetings) had been showing their support.

In fact even in the debate in plenary Municipal socialist councilor who wore the motion predicted a favorable vote.

But Mr. Manuel Soler, spokeswoman for the group, withdrew the word to your partner to take the debate himself, after which he changed the direction of the vote without offering any argument and hid behind a curious abstention.

Ana Maria Lidón, in this situation, asked the PSOE greater seriousness in tackling these issues, it is not presentable after many months of hard work by the municipal officers and politicians in which he had reached a consensus, all tarnished by the particular choice of a person who had nothing to do with this process.

Recall that the contributions by the party have been introduced into the final text, which makes it even more incomprehensible its change in extremis.

These districts, in compliance with Law 57/2003, are set as a own territorial area, equipped with decentralized management bodies, to promote and develop public participation in the management of municipal affairs and improvement.

It is essential for organizations to consider the implementation of a policy aimed at correcting imbalances and representing the interests of the various neighborhoods and districts of the township municipal politics.

Taken this approach, the 6 districts would be integrated as follows:
