Diego Molina José Mateos militancy publishes his candidacy for the Socialist Party primaries in Lorca (09/10/2014)

The socialist candidate says he feels overwhelmed and motivated by the strong support shown by the membership, in large numbers, has come today to hear firsthand their presentation, making the socialist based stay small.

He asserted that the Socialists have begun the process of primaries in the PSOE for the militants to choose the candidate for mayor of Lorca, with the intention of the city to have the mayor that best defends the rights and interests of Lorca and lorquinas above partisan interests.

He stressed that we must not forget that the PSOE has been reaping some disturbing election results for years, putting in evidence a progressive trend "has led us to have large absolute majority (with which we transform and revive our city) to seven current council.

The main challenge is to curb this dynamic that reflects our lack of success to connect with the interests and concerns of Lorca and Lorca.

We are not present in the associative, educational, health and social services field, commercial, neighborhood, business or agricultural and therefore we must recover presence in the social fabric. "

The Popular Party has made a city where Lorca spreads pessimism and weightless in the Region of Murcia, submissive to their partisan political Lorca without hearing to involve Lorca and Lorca, which has caused our city has stopped be a regional benchmark as historically it had always been.

We must end the cycle of government of a Mayor and his team, totally passive, away from people and only manages, late and wrong, which dictate and send from Murcia, forgetting the general interests of Lorca.

It is for this candidate two challenges arise: the first is to make the PSOE Lorca again have a presence in the wider social fabric of the city and the second would be to strengthen the internal structure for Lorca and Lorca again trust Socialist to occupy the mayor of Lorca.

All of this work, tenacity and effort, listening, as it can not be otherwise, citizenship and fostering close work, direct contact with people, "less office and more street"

Mateos said that the lead candidate proposed, will consist comrades with ability to work and sacrifice, references in different social environments and willing to defend socialist ideas and principles.

Always putting the interests of Lorca and its citizens and claiming where appropriate, govern who governs.

The socialist militant believed to have the training, qualifications and experience in public administration, in the organic field, in the institutional world and the neighborhood needed to take on this huge challenge, saying it is a firm commitment that binds the party and the socialist project, at least the next 4 years.

He finished by calling on the membership to participate in this process, to vote on the 19th in total freedom and conscience and has called on all the union party environment the successful candidate, as only way to make Lorca back in its rightful place and should never have lost.
