Fifty people reflect on sport and education through the Second Conference Training Sports Games Guadalentin (14/10/2014)

Within the broad range of activities related to physical activity and sport that make Guadalentin Sports Games, the training day are consolidated as a reference activity in relation to reflection, debate and learning the latest trends related to teaching and training physical activity and sport.

Fifty participants from various cities of the region, Sewer, Alhama, Murcia, and outside, Almería, Caves of Almanzora, etc., participated Saturday in the Second Conference on Education held in the Aula Cultural CajaMurcia format intense morning session.

The structure of the conference included a number of presentations 25 minutes of exposure, followed by 15 minutes of discussion and questions from the audience.

The conference had an inclusive nature, as well as professional athletes, coaches and teachers mainly gathered other influential in the education of young students and athletes agents.

Without leaving the area of ​​psychology of Sport, Francisco J. Montero Ortín, Bachelor and Doctor in Psychology and Professor of Psychology at the University of Murcia, tried on the most appropriate behavior to be developed by parents of young athletes .

The teacher illustrated on the difficult role of parents in sports and educational environment for their children.

In addition, a dynamic view on the relationship between psychological variables and different aspects that influence the development of the young athlete motivation offered.

This information served useful for parents of athletes who are immersed in the current sports systems.

After the break, Ms.. Bethlehem Weaver Gomez, Teacher Child and Clinical Psychologist and coordinator of guidance services Salzillo school of Molina de Segura, tried on different strategies that teachers should look to have a closeness with parents students.

The importance of communication processes was emphasized to ensure proper relationship between parents and teachers, which in turn are key elements in the educational process of young students.

Then Vicente Carrillo J. Beltran, Bachelor and Doctor of CAFD and professor at the Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche, presented a study in physical education intervention to promote physical activity and health in schools, highlighting the different phases of the project and the most conclusive results.

Significantly adherence found that many students in this program and the positive influence it had on your health, shedding further evidence of the importance of physical activity as a health enhancer element and in turn limiting illness in young people of our society .

This paper served as an example and encouragement for research in different educational processes that develop teachers of physical education in our city.

To close the event, it was attended by Don Enrique Garcés of Fayos Ruíz, a degree and PhD in psychology, professor at the University of Murcia, and one of the precursors of Sport Psychology in our region and in the country.

Professor Garcés keynote speech in which he reviewed the different challenges and issues in which is immersed our current educational and sports system.

He made a fine exhibition of the responsibilities of parents and teachers, as well as the most interesting strategies to successfully bring the educational process of sons / daughters and alumni / ae.

To end the conference a round table in which the debate between speakers and attendees opened, offering a brainstorming and reflections held.

To finish the day we proceeded to the closing by the Councillor for Sports, Agustín Gómez Llamas, and Councillor for Education, Francisco Sánchez Montiel.
