UPyD Lorca regrets the "partisan use and promotion" City government makes public money (01/04/2015)

According to Juan Manuel Cabrera, managing local government is "bad" and has not been able to "solve the main problems of the city after so many years"

The candidate of Unión Progreso y Democracia (UPyD) for mayor of Lorca, Juan Manuel Cabrera, said that it is unacceptable the use being made by the local council in relation to the various openings.

"The maelstrom of openings of all kinds has reached the absurdity of having to open some works without having finished".

As Cabrera explained, is regrettable to see how public money is used to promote a municipal management, which unfortunately has not been what it should in the last four years.

"The municipal government has wasted an absolute majority with which it had and has not been able to solve the outstanding problems generated after earthquakes and floods, but it has not solved the everyday problems of the city."

Similarly, the local spokesman stressed that many of the infrastructure that the city lacks are not a problem of earthquakes and natural disasters, but are historical gaps for lack of good management of a government, which had already proposed many of these works and infrastructure up to four to eight years.

The magenta Lorca training ensures that the handling and use of all "to get a picture and try to whitewash management has been quite poor in recent years, is a tease to citizens".

He also added that transparency should be the rule governing a government and municipal.

"It is unacceptable this confluence of openings until just the last day allowed by law".

"From our perspective, it is unacceptable that public money is used to instead of solving the problems of citizens, making promotion of municipal management".
