Juan Manuel Cabrera, candidate of Unión Progreso y Democracia mayor of Lorca, claims a temporary cessation in the implementation of the recent ordinance terracing, "after complaints from some establishments".

Cabrera explained that the current legislation appears to many shops "unaffordable cost overrun after the crisis caused by the general economic situation and by natural disasters in recent years."
In this sense, the candidate of the formation magenta believes "establishments are forced now to make a new financial outlay", after taking previous amendments arising from the regulations snuff consumption and investments made after the earthquakes.

In his opinion, "this ordinance should guarantee the right of citizens to enjoy public spaces without conflicting with the economic interests of establishments" that the total cost of the reform fall exclusively on this sector.
Also, for the head of the list to the mayor Lorca "the rule should also be modified as it allows the Administration to act arbitrarily, allowing the uniqueness of discretional way".
"This may involve unfair competition between businesses forced to invest to change everything and others that are allowed from the Administration does not meet the same standards."
