Antonio Mecca (C's): "We will not support the project of the Auditorium until 2.6 million raised by lotteries is not destined for those affected by the earthquake" (10/05/2015)

Candidate Citizens (C's) for mayor of Lorca, Antonio Mecca, has demanded that the Mayor of Lorca, that the departure of euros 2.6 million sourced from the lottery draw for reconstruction and assistance to the victims of the 2011 earthquake, it is not destined for the construction of the Auditorium and Congress Centre of Santa Quiteria and available to those who should be their true beneficiaries, affected earthquakes.

The candidate of the Citizen-Party of the Citizenship Party, held a meeting with the Mayor of Lorca on the proposed construction of the future Congress Palace and Auditorium to be constructed at the fairgrounds in Santa Quiteria.

The current mayor and candidate of Mr. Jodar Popular Party has explained to Antonio Meca the most significant aspects of the project and has heard the criticisms and observations of the candidate of Citizens, which are:

They not have been publicly exposed the project to address the suggestions and proposals for improvement of citizens.

Not having made a public tender for the award of the drafting.

It is directly awarded public works company and not having Tracsa companies Lorca to award these works.

The two million six hundred thousand euros the solidarity of the national lottery draw in these works are used and are not intended for its original purpose of being, like the rest of solidarity actions for the recovery of the earthquake and assistance to those affected.

From the Citizens Party, they want to reach all the citizens of Lorca its commitment not to support this project until they are met his demands in relation to that considered "misuse" of the income of the draw of the National Lottery and warned the Mayor of their disagreement by the inexplicable decision, when the majority of those affected by the earthquake have not returned to their homes and should be given priority attention.

Furthermore, it is especially evident while remaining buildings that are in financial ruin, and families who are outside their homes because they can not demolish and rebuild.
