Lorca Mayor explained that the work for the empowerment of new parking area, in fact, have already begun with the execution of various tasks leveling and cleaning.
The aim of the project is the design of a municipal plot of 765 m2 located between the streets Rodriguez Moya and Labyrinth, against Cardinal Belluga places and Eliodoro Puche.
This will be achieved to enable a total of 27 parking spaces and 2 more reserved for the disabled.
The parking area will be implemented with the installation of new type LED lighting as well as tree planting (type fruitless mulberry Morus Alba) and planters with lavender and rosemary to give it shaded area.
One paved and paved area of ​​710 m2 will be established, with marked places, banks and some sections of perimeter stone walls (13 m2).
In the implementation of this project will work beneficiaries Urban-employment plan, counting works with completion expected within approximately 3 months.
The mayor has said it will also proceed to the enhancement of a municipal plot of 82 m2 located opposite the Tower Rojano between Ramirez Medrano and streets with the aim of turning this area into a small square.

The new transparent area will be equipped with 67 m2 of floor, a retaining wall of 30 m2, 22 meters of railing, 9 meters of stairs and 48 m2 of stone veneer, which will offer a completely new look, assuming a sensitive aesthetic improvement environment.
The resulting plaza will also include new trees, benches and lighting type LED.
Francisco Jodar has indicated that under the Urban Initiative for the Barrios Altos de Lorca, have been carrying out, among other actions aimed at cleaning and conditioning solar municipally owned.
These plots, in some cases, have been incorporated into the streets, and other such areas have been earmarked for the construction of small open-plan spaces for the enjoyment of residents, some solar also being subject to possible future constructions.
