The City Council promotes the management of over 2 million square meters for the development of a new residential area in Pozo Higuera (27/07/2015)

The Town Planning of the City of Lorca, Satur Martinez reported that the city council initially approved the structural modification 25 of the General Plan of Lorca, in order to enable the development of a residential area on the site of Doña Ana, located in the deputation of Pozo Higuera.El objective of this structural modification of General Plan of Lorca is to incorporate undeveloped land Sectorizado land situated in the deputation of Pozo Higuera, Spot Doña Ana, currently classified as Special Building and SIDU.

Modification is drawn based on the Urban Development Agreement signed between the city of Lorca and commercial developer in November 2005, establishing a building coefficient of 0.14 m2 / m2, corresponding to a density of housing between 14 and 18 per hectare.

Martinez stressed that the management of these more than two million square meters are given a decisive forward to allow urban development in this area as a residential area step.
