IU-Green requires the enforcement of rights of users of public health (09/09/2015)

Dori Peñas, councilor of the municipal group of IU-Green has accused the makers of the health administration of health area III Murcia violate the Law 3/2009, of May 11, of rights and duties users of the healthcare system of the Region of Murcia, highlighting the lack of information of citizens about their rights to attend this law.

From IU-Greens claim that patients in the area III in which Lorca is not knowledgeable about the rights that protect them and, in the case of surgical interventions have to wait more than a year in some cases to be treated without facilitating the right to information when they come to inquire about the waiting time for treatment lacking.

Peñas mentioned that the latest report by the Federation of Associations for the Defense of Public Health puts Murcia eleventh place in the national ranking, poor health services offered as a result of the implementation of cuts in health public.

In this sense, and with the recent entry into service of new operating rooms created with the redevelopment of the hospital Rafael Mendez, Peñas they said that the statements of the Minister stating that the works have been making compatible with the hospital use are not all certain, since there have been richly surgical emergency interventions, while they are still on hold and not far from easing the list has swelled considerably in recent months.

From IU-Greens claim that the law have been met, patients should have given them attention in other hospitals in the region, which would have guaranteed the one hand, their health care, and on the other expedite the endless lists expected.
