On Sunday morning, on the occasion of the celebrations of the council of Rio, a new edition of the Feria de Petanque Tournament it took place.
This championship, due to works being carried out in the district of San Diego at this deputation Lorca moved closer, is one of the most important in the region due to its popularity and tradition.
In game tracks gathered 102 participants this year, 18 more than last year, which competed in couplet for victory.
Throughout the morning and into the afternoon 52 couplet met in different categories: absolute, youth and women.
Of note is the participation of local players, and the fans who traveled across the region of Murcia and neighboring provinces such as Almeria and Alicante to participate and claim victory.
