C's Lorca: "We are pleased with the unanimous approval of the full to reduce the IBI" (30/09/2015)

Antonio Mecca, Councillor municipal spokesperson Citizen-Party of citizenship, has been quite satisfied after IBI agreements adopted yesterday by the full council.

Citizens had registered three motions relating to Property Tax, and two of them have been approved unanimously by the political groups.

The first concerned the urgent revision of the assessed property value in the town of Lorca to current market value, and the second to study the modification of the tax rate for this tax, in order to reduce what they pay citizens .

The satisfaction of the municipal group Citizens lies in having achieved that is to correct a demand of the citizens of our town who comes demanding from more than 10 years ago.

This is the wrong decision of 2005 to increase disproportionately IBI and has turned to neighboring victims of that decision of the socialist government, but also inaction after eight years in government of the Popular Party, which has not done nothing to correct it.

The third motion proposal sought to quantify the damage caused to the victims of "catastrazo" know the number of affected and ask the Plenary public recognition of the damage caused and is comforting to all those affected with the relevant excuses.

This motion has been on the table to disagree with the other groups drafting, "probably by the guilty conscience of some members of the Corporation, which are in some complex the municipal group of citizens that drives the solution of a historic problem caused by them. "

Therefore, this motion will be brought to plenary in October, with new wording but the same background: relief to affected families.
