The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and the Director General of Trade and Consumer Protection of the Autonomous Community, Francisca Cabrera, inaugurated this morning, accompanied by Councilman Craft, Juan Miguel Bayonas the exhibition "Noble Art" artist and Lorca craftsman Antonio Segura Ruiz, who may visit at the Regional Craft Centre Lorca until 27 November.
Jodar explained that "Segura Ruiz Lorca self-taught is dedicated to the world of decoration, doing work in artistic painting and ceramics decoration, both in Murcia and Almeria, making pictures and really striking murals, using a base of coffee binder, universal land and natural dyes, which can only be used on a special paste ".
This shows paintings of different sizes and different three-dimensional elements such as arches, cornices, paneling, altar pieces, etc. will be exhibited, as well as pieces with contemporary design.
As for his sculptural work, it is made of plaster and molded clay imitating other materials such as wood, marble, stone, etc.
The mayor stressed the importance of the Regional Craft Centre keeps the Autonomous Community on Calle Lope Gisbert to enhance the work of our craftsmen, betting both its dissemination and its sale.
