Worship Peñas, councilor of the municipal group of IU-Greens Lorca City Council has announced the initiative of his political group to start a round of contacts with the various NGOs, S associations that make up the social fabric of the municipality.

The mayor has said that while they did before and, in these times of crisis, social security institutions have led to the survival of thousands of families who are having a great evil in extremely precarious situations and on the verge of social exclusion.
"Thanks to NGOs, S thousands of families are moving forward," he assured Peñas, who says the government response to the actions that these entities are carrying out at the service of citizens, with no corresponding budgets and precarious means, the limit of their capabilities and overwhelmed to meet more and more people in need.
In this sense, IU-Greens, being aware of the important social function carried out by NGOs, S within the social fabric of the municipality as well as the difficulties they face to carry out its laudable aims, say It is necessary to make this round of contacts with the different associations and organizations to gather information about the social reality that each serves the purpose of being able to raise in municipal bodies any proposals for improvement.
Finally, Peñas recalled that soon the debate on municipal budgets for 2016 will occur, so it may be a good opportunity to raise the needs of these organizations and find the necessary solutions that correspond to the important social function they perform .
