The Councillor for Citizen Participation in the Municipality of Lorca, Maria del Carmen Ruiz, has reported on the main results of the Report on Quality of Life in Lorca, included in the "Plan Definition of Strategies for Economic Development and Employment Improvement quality of life and welfare in the municipality of Lorca. "

This document has been prepared by specialists and university professors from the University of Murcia and UPCT Antonio Garrido, Prudencio Riquelme, Jose Maria Ramos, Francisco Carreño, Cesar Pina and Narciso Garcia Arcas.

• Knowing the degree of satisfaction of the inhabitants of Lorca with the various services and facilities offered by the municipality.

• Identify key issues related to the municipality that affect people in their daily lives.

• Collect opinions and suggestions about possible improvements that can be carried out in each of the different areas, and resulting in an increase in the quality of life of the population.

• Learn first hand the personal situation of its inhabitants and their future prospects as residents of Lorca.

Ruiz Jodar said the questionnaire that served as support for data collection has been designed by an ad-hoc group of experts on social research techniques, to cover all research objectives should be remembered that the size sample is placed in 800 set for aggregate local distribution between city and districts, with a sample of 400 individuals in each.
