The PSOE requested that the monolith is observed in memory of the victims of gender violence and return to the Plaza of Spain (19/11/2015)

Andrea Periago today has given voice to one of the claims that the world of women in Lorca has been claiming for years: the dignity of a symbol with which our city against the scourge of gender violence, referring to monolith in memory of the victims of gender violence located in the Plaza de Calderón.

The socialist mayor regretted that this important symbol honoring women victims of gender violence goes unnoticed throughout the year to be "tucked in between benches, and deck chairs and tables."

To do so, they request the return of this monolith to its previous location, Plaza of Spain.
