We will have a stage in which we will see more were demanding infrastructures become reality, while the overall improvement of large urban areas and services in districts continue their march.

I want to emphasize, in this sense, especially years ago when we beat stronger the crisis and were suffering the effects of natural disasters, all Lorca making redoubled their efforts to open a new era in which we begin to have multiple improvements streets, neighborhoods, roads and infrastructure care and public use.

The reality is that Lorca grows, the economic movement is recovering, just as we are getting create new jobs month after month, consolidating a trend that is reflected in the increased consumption also at the municipal level.

The crisis and its effects have been very hard, but now it seems far behind and that the benefits of recovery come into our families.

That reality also extends to the municipal accounts, which increased for the second consecutive year.

Economy Councilman anticipated that, in fact, the provision of goods and services to citizens account for 27% of the total budget, more than 3 percentage points last year.

In concrete figures we speak of 19.5 million euros (2.5 more than this year).

Investments for 2016 are double those of the year, standing at € 10,137,739, and chaining three consecutive years in which the allocations for the implementation of new projects will increase significantly.

Among the most important projects that will be developed over the next year include improving the urban areas of Santa Quiteria, Saint Kitts and Eulogio Periago (5.79 million) the first year of the works of Juan Carlos I (2, 87 million) and improved cultural heritage by € 425,000, in sports facilities € 120,000 and an extra reserve of 60,000 for other interventions for improvement.

Towards a more healthy economy

Thanks to successive development plans optimization of spending, saving and austerity that are being implemented in recent years, in 2016 was cut to less than half, falling to 63.5 million, for a total decrease of 52 1 million.

Notably, precisely during the 2015 municipal debt has been reduced by 7 million.

Correction of inherited problems.

Because of the need to continue solving problems inherited from previous administrations, the City is obliged to block certain economic items to meet the payment of costs of these errors, as will be the case the expropriation of the Merced (300,000 €) and money back Conventions "trap" (€ 2,000,000).
