IU-Greens denounced the excessive movement of the Three Kings (05/01/2016)

Worship Peñas, councilor of the municipal group of IU-Green has complained that, once again, the municipality incurs the same mistake to restate the route of the parade of kings from the vineyard to San Cristobal.

Peñas stressed that there were numerous complaints last year by the same issue as it is an excessively long journey that brings the exhaustion of the people participating in the parade, leaving many of them before the end of the course.

Furthermore, due to excessive way, children who come to see the King and Queen in the streets of San Cristobal have to wait until after nine at night to witness a parade whose participants are already tired and exhausted.

Peñas stressed that it was much more practical and consistent in previous years when the tour was made from San Jose to the Plaza of Spain, recalling that then the neighbors could enjoy their own procession, which being smaller and smaller, allowed local children to witness it at the same time that the rest of the country, ie, in the afternoon.

Urban areas without Christmas lights

Similarly, from the political party denounced the discrimination made with the Christmas lights because, despite promises celebrations councilor, has emphasized the lighting of the downtown streets, leaving deserted streets of festive lights the periphery such as the case of the street Eulogio Periago, one of the entrances to the city from the highway of Caravaca.

"Discriminating against people by their place of residence is something mean" Peñas has stated, referring to the neighbors of the streets who are also entitled to enjoy the Christmas lights to reside in the town.
