4 activities will be held in the auditorium of the IES Ramón Arcas Mecca during the month of February and narration of folktales in April with the aim of showing different views on education and invite reflection on education in our century
The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, announced laparticipación the municipality at the conference "Education for the XXI century. Views from the Arts and Sciences".
It is an initiative of the University of Murcia, the Association of Pensioners and the Museum of Science and Water Murcia, which has the support of the City of Lorca.
The mayor has said that "the aim of this conference is to show different views on education through cultural acts intended to invite reflection on what should be education in this century from a wide scientific and artistic perspective. It an initiative developed at the regional level that aims to articulate a plural movement and interested in education to continue working and preparing proposals along the course. "
Lorca will host five activities taking place during the months of February and April in the auditorium of the IES Ramón Arcas Meca at 19.30.
The first will be on Thursday February 4 and will consist of the recital "Vanitas Vanitatum" (Science Talent Humor and irony).
It is a tribute to Javier Krahe, played by Eduardo Vicente Palao and Piqueras.
On February 12 a lecture by Professor Antonio Frago Viñao be held under the title "Can a pact on education? A response from political science."
On February 19 we will have the conference "Entreteniciencia: a didactic approach to teaching delighting" Professor Rafael Garcia-Molina.
On February 25 we will have the conference "Look, Smudged, feel, express. The Art loves the risk," Professor Juan Mariano Balibrea Piqueras.
Already in April, during the Book Week, the activity will be held "Outcry", narration of folktales by Alonso Palacios Rozalén.
The activity will be held in different schools nursery and primary in the municipality.
