The Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure has received a total of 31 offers from companies in the construction for the execution of works in the first leg of the South Central Ronda in Lorca, which will run between the neighborhoods of Apollonia and San Diego sector.
The deadline for submission of proposals ended on February 11 and the next step will be the opening of both the technical and economic proposals.
Then the jury of the Ministry will make a proposal for the award to the company that has obtained the highest overall score in the sum of both sections.
It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded soon.
The recruitment is handled by competition and open versus formula auction procedure, which is a novelty because it will assess 50 percent economic offer and the other 50 percent technical improvements brought to the project (constructive memory, within execution plan quality assurance, additional safety measures and environmental).
This section, which is the first tendered the path that corresponds execute the Community, has a tender base of 10,805,155 euros from the regional government loan with the European Investment Bank (EIB) budget, and lead time of 18 months.
The performance will take place along 1.5 kilometers, between the old N-340a, at the entrance of Lorca in the east of the city, in the neighborhood of Apollonia, and the roundabout at the San Diego.
This layout is divided into two subsections.
The first one, with north-south arrangement substantially unites the first two roundabouts projected at different levels across the railway line Murcia-Aguilas, and the second subsection, east-west arrangement, ranging from the second to the fifth roundabout , the latter located in the district of San Diego.
