The City will subsidize the project with 25,000 euros of aid to families of San José de Calasanz (19/06/2008)

Lorca's mayor, Francisco Jodar has this morning signed an agreement with Tena Feliberto Nogales, director of the Community Social Work Louise de Marillac School-San Jose de Calasanz Child, by which the Consistory lorquino subsidize this organization with 25,000 euros to carry out a program of aid to families in 2008, called AFA.

The City Councillor for NGO Lorca, Mari Carmen Ruiz, said that "this year has increased by $ 3,000 to support the Infant School San José de Calasanz do this project, intended as a resource to respond to the needs current of 30 families with children, while working on prevention and integration of children and families, socially and economically dysfunctional.

As a basic principle for Action highlights the leveling of the dislocations and compensation biopsychosocial social deprivation of children, from their personal limitations and / or their family, school and social life.

Similarly aims to facilitate integration and socialization of children and their relationship with the family, through a progressive incorporation into the dynamics of the center as possible while respecting their own pace, as a prelude to a gradual integration into other institutions and resources standard in the area, so that both parents and children to acquire social skills necessary minimum relate to their environment effectively.

Also the project aims to develop training for all educational stakeholders working in the project through concrete programs to achieve the consolidation of a pluralistic educational team, supportive and participatory to improve the quality of service and individualized care that is integral learning model for children.

Infant School San José de Calasanz, with the collaboration of the Municipality of Lorca, will work with this project to make all kinds of inequalities, provide children with basic experiences that contribute to the development of their potentials and their first learning and meet their basic needs hygiene, nutrition and health.

At the same time, promote self-esteem of children, providing security and affection.

In the same vein, there will be an educational intervention as the developmental stage and taking the necessary adjustments ends, serving to minors and their natural family in those missing elements for proper socialization.

Finally, involve parents in the educational process and the proper care of their children in the first years of life.
