Last Thursday June 26, held the traditional swimming festival organized by the Municipal Sports and Games (IMJUDE), in collaboration with the Swimming Club Lorca, and that puts an end to the season of swimming courses are taught regularly from the month of October in the Sports Complex indoor pools in Europe.

A total of 150 children ages 6 to age 15, having the option to take part in it all those children who do not belong to any club or who were in possession of federal license.

There were many relatives and friends who came to witness the festival and that did not stop encouraging at all times.

The winners in various categories were:

- 2001 and younger women: Marina Carrillo Mateo.

- 2001 and younger men: José M ª González Giner.

- 2000 Female: Ana Diaz Andreu.

- 2000 male: Pastor Alejandro Periago.

- Year 99 female: Clara Martínez Martínez.

- Year 99 male: Rafael Belmonte Lario.

- Year 98 female: M ª Dolores García Costa.

- Year 98 male: Jaime Sánchez González.

- Year 97 female: Eva Fernández Jiménez.

- Year 97 male: Matthew Pedrero Valiente.

- Year 96 female: Marina Ayala López.

- Year 96 male: Alberto Pérez Ruíz.

- Year 95 female: Marisa González Pascual.

- Year 94 female: Yolanda Jódar Manzanares.

- Year 94 male: Antonio Jesus Villalba Saorin.

- Year 93 and older men: Fernando Avila Perez.

Finally it is noteworthy that this year has about 2500 people participated in swimming lessons and aquatics programs (infants, pregnant women, school swimming, water aerobics and hydrotherapy) that develop in the vessels covered Europa Sports Complex.

On Tuesday July 1 will begin intensive courses which will run until Wednesday 16.
