The Governing Council has approved the acquisition of the land urgently needed to put the C-9, between Zarzadilla of Totana and Lorca.

This is the first phase of a comprehensive project for upgrading the C-9, third level, which will improve circulation and traffic safety, taking into account that the area has an important agricultural activity, which generates some traffic heavy.

In turn, the route covered by the project is widely used in summer for vehicles from Mula and Bullas that go to the shore of Eagle through Lorca.

The works will include the widening of the platform to reach nine feet wide, a seven meter carriageway and hard shoulder of a meter, with reconstruction of the pavement.
