"This is not Beijing, we play football" is an international youth exchange organized by the Youth City Lorca (IMJUVE) and funded by Youth in Action Programme of the European Union.
From August 30 to September 8, young people from Poland, Germany, Sweden, Romania and Spain, for a total of 35, have had the opportunity to discover different landscapes of Lorca, from his monumental city, through the spectacular mountains Sierra del Gigante to finish in the beautiful coves Calnegre tips, while that have explored the theme of the trade: how sport unites Europe through sports and events shared by millions of Europeans of all ages every day.
The sport involves culture, European citizens with different cultural backgrounds match at local clubs, national teams in European competitions.
Sports played in schools of all ages where young people from all walks of life, sex and origin, in a Europe increasingly pluralistic and less boundaries between its inhabitants.
Promote and support the role of sport as a tool to create a space for intercultural dialogue are the main objectives of this exchange "This is not Beijing, we play football."
