Reply Alderman of Social Affairs of the City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, to the insults made this morning by the PSOE (26/11/2008)

The Councillor for Social Affairs lorquino Consistory has described as "despicable" that Mr. Ruiz Alviar feel like taking cut policy on sick leave from a city official in charge of issues related to absenteeism in the Municipal Council Social Services.

Ibarra has indicated that criticism by the PSOE did not conform to reality.

In fact the City has reported that, despite the low of this officer, whose personal and professional contribution has been described as "honors" by Lali Ibarra, the proceedings in truancy matters continue to be developed by of the Employment Department and through programs such as "Paid" and "Notebooks at home."

The Social Affairs Edil anticipated, moreover, that today, at the request of the Municipal School Board, the city of Lorca is working on the forthcoming launch of a plan of action against truancy involving three Councillors, as are Education, Public Safety, Employment and Social Affairs, which never made the PSOE during the long years that ruled our city, inaction, according to Ibarra, "now gives them a bad conscience."

Ibarra said it's fine that Mr. Ruiz Alviar wants to justify his salary as councilman in some way, "but we both know this topic has blundered."
