The regional government has approved a grant of 15,000 euros to the Youth Council of Lorca for the project 'Area 36', which aims to get young people of the towns of Totana, Aledo, Puerto Lumbreras, Eagles, Mazarrón and Lorca, who are concentrated in a radius of 36 kilometers around the city of the sun, as well as groups and associations, can relate to each other by participating together in various youth programs.

The assistance will be financed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, through the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, with the aim of the Local Youth Council of Lorca equip the youth groups of the aforementioned municipalities of a strengthening its activities.

Thus, associations with fewer economic resources may develop their activities, while promoting the participation of youth members.
