The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar has reported that the city council has managed to get the final approval to a total of 15 projects submitted to the State Plan.
Jodar has stated that "the City Council are doing our part by accelerating to the maximum so that everything is ready and it does not slip a penny of this fund.
In fact we are proud to be one of the fastest Consistory in this matter.
We note that the 15 projects submitted involve an investment for Lorca around 6 million euros.
The works are divided between urban neighborhoods and villages.
In this regard we recall that we have submitted a total of 49 projects for a global economic pillar than 15.8 million euros, which would create approximately 650 jobs. "
Lorca Mayor stressed that "our goal is that Lorca have the best urban environment possible, we are working from the outset.
To take forward these projects the City needs to make an extra effort, because we have to put on the table the projects contracted and executed in a very short space of time.
To do this we have made a redotación of staff with the addition of three new professionals who have taken up their posts this morning.
This is Gonzálvez Joaquín García, working as an architect, Bridget Martinez Morillas, who will take his place as public works engineer, and Antonio Martinez Martinez, who shall work as an administrative assistant.
These are workers who will look to develop and make these projects viable. "
Apart from recruitment to taking forward the projects of the State Fund, also took up a post as an electrician assigned to the municipal electricity Colonel Francisco José Velasco.
The mayor congratulated the new officers and welcomed them to City Hall team.
