On Wednesday 21th January from 11:00 hours will be held at the Sports Complex swimming pool Europe a new edition of the Special School Games swimming mode, included within the School Sports Programme 2008/2009.

In the competition include a total of 200 people with intellectual and physical disabilities belonging to a total of 16 schools and clubs in the Region of Murcia.

The tests are swim 25 meters, 50 meters and 100 meters freestyle, 50 backstroke, 100 backstroke, 50 meter breaststroke and relay 4x25 meters.

Next to the mode of competition, there will be more participation, adapting some standards and rules based on the level and abilities of participants.

This test is organized by the FEDEMIPS (Sports Federation for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities in the Region of Murcia) with the Directorate General of Sports and the Municipal Sports and Games (IMJUDE).
