The Hospital Rafael Méndez de Lorca purchase medical equipment worth 220,000 euros (16/02/2009)

Murciano Health Service (SMS) has invested 219,430 euros in the acquisition of 11 medical devices for the Hospital Rafael Méndez de Lorca.

In particular it has acquired angiographic used in ophthalmology to study the blood vessels of the retina, a surgical microscope for ophthalmology and otolaryngology interventions very specific small areas, a respirator for non-invasive mechanical ventilation, a volume ventilator for transport, an electronic blood pressure monitor designed to monitor blood pressure, a surgical instrument washer and automatic bedpan cleaning wedges for bedridden patients.
