On the morning of Sunday, March 15 took place the 3rd route of the "Bike and Nature" organized by the Municipal Sports and Games in collaboration with the Association Lorca Santiago, and included within the area "Activities in the wild" .
From 08:00 hours was done in the vicinity of Europa Sports Complex, registration and control of firms., And 152 participants together with members of the organization, Red Cross and Civil Protection moved to the hamlet of tendrils of Ramos.
The departure took place about 09:30 h.
from the Parish Church towards the corner of Carranza.
In this first installment cyclists and faced a first ascent of about 800 meters from the Tornajos Countertop and Collado del Sordo.
Then began a journey down and after spending the Rambla del Salt, the squad faced the most demanding leg of the journey: an ascent of 1200 meters forest track, which skirted the Sierra del Mortar and ending in the familiar Homes Reverte.
Here, there was a well deserved based on water supplies, fruit and sweets.
The large squad continued its march to Sell Romero, Casa de Belmonte, Selvarejo forest track and bowling.
The last part of the route was almost flat and returned back to the Palm Zarcilla Spot the Rock House, covering the distance of 40 kilometers
Highlight the important work of the members of the Association Lorca-Santiago with a perfect career and work coordination of mechanical assistance to the participants made it all come out with an absolute success.
The next route of the "Bike and Nature" will take place next May 10 and it is also a circular route, which will pass through the village of Doña Inés.
