The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, and the Chief of Training Section of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Autonomous Community, Miguel Prisons, have delivered this morning's awards Campaign School Risk Prevention " Security Grows ", financed through grants by the Department of Employment and Training (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health).
This program makes use of the prevention education for children enrolled in fourth and fifth years of elementary education.
This educational work, fun and flexible, it has been done on the three key areas of socialization of children: school, family and neighborhood.
The council has stated that "the aim of this school year, is to instill in children of primary education, basic concepts in prevention in a playful way, and thus understand the obligation of all to enforce the rules on prevention, in Three key areas of socialization: school, family and neighborhood. "
This intervention in the school setting is complemented School Drawing Competition "Increased security, an important dynamic element that seeks to promote the participation of children, and get the echo of their work in the classroom.
Schools that have participated in this campaign are Alfonso X, Pérez de Hita, Andrés García Soler, Jose Robles, San Fernando, San Jose, San Francisco de Asis and Juan Gonzalez.
