The Socialist Party is opposed to the students of IES No. 6 studying in prefabricated classrooms in the parking lot of Hall Europe (18/06/2009)

Gines Diaz socialist councilor has expressed revulsion at the plans of the Ministry of Education of the regional government of the PP to place high school students in portable classrooms number 6 in the Sports Pavilion car park in Europe.

The mayor said most of the students of Sacred Heart schools, Juan Gonzalez and San Cristobal, situated in the Barrio de San Cristóbal, and will next year secondary education, have sought to pursue their studies in Prince IES Asturias and Ramón Arcas.

Diaz criticized these students, along with those already studied in the virtual institute, will have their classes in portable classrooms that do not even have specific spaces for labs or technology.

The mayor noted that the parents of these students, which could exceed a hundred, flatly refuse to have their children study in a "shameful" and the uncertainty of not knowing where or when work on the school run.

Diaz called the situation "extremely unfair" and criticized the lack of government commitment of the PP with public education Lorca.
