Youth Councillor of the City of Lorca, Joaquin Ruiz, announced this morning that the Local Government has agreed to subsidize with 43,200 euros annual work program of the Youth Council of Lorca

The Youth Council of Lorca, is planned during 2009, carrying out a work plan, with a total budget of 54,950 euros, according to the report submitted to the Council.

This program encompasses a range of activities aimed at achieving the general objectives relating to advice on youth Housing, to promote young art, participate in the Project Environmental Agenda 21, developed a map of partnerships and working in the program Diversa.

This entity also plans to hold a meeting of associations, participation in the Student Lounge, 2009 Youth Zone, Area 36 and alcohol prevention campaign among young people, and deliver the Youth Awards in motion, keeping the Internet Portal and youth employment exchange.

Ruiz has recognized the important work that the Youth Council and thanked Lorca collaboration as representatives of youth associations in the municipality.
