The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, accompanied by City Councilman Urbanism Lorca, Francisco Garcia, presented a new project for remodeling a street of old town, particularly for Fernando V Street, which links the old Selgas Street Plaza of Supply, with the reform of infrastructure and the surface.

Jódar stressed that "to the plight of the municipal coffers, since the Planning Department we got to work to find new funding sources, which increase the 275 municipal work we are doing around the township to through the Municipal Investment Plan (PIMUN), in order to transform the town, create jobs and boost our economy.

The result of these efforts, we have obtained the signature of this agreement for co-financing of the renovation of the street Fernando V, by Porcelanosa companies, Natural Gas, Aguas de Lorca and the Bar Association of the city, so that in addition to the change of pavement, also coordinate underground infrastructure renewals, so avoiding nuisance to neighbors in the future. "

Lorca Mayor pointed out that giving away the Consistory Porcelanosa the pavement of the street, while the rest of the cost of the project amounts to EUR 12,539.46, which will be cofinanced by Gasnatural, Aguas de Lorca and the Bar Association.

For surface treatment of the street and use a modern pavement, according to the technical management, absolutely guarantees each and every one of the characteristics of durability, safety and aesthetics due to an initiative of this kind.

Upon completion of these infrastructure works, which will make each of the companies involved in this Convention, according to technical criteria for the award, being the sole responsibility of all aspects of Employment Security, Social, Civil, ... will be undertaken the paving and final settlement of the streets, according to a draft drawn up by experts from the Urban Planning Department.

Jodar has recalled that "this agreement follows the steps marked by another signed just a few months ago and already is a reality with the renovation of the Streets Núñez de Arce and Spin, which are nearly completed, thanks to economic cooperation Aguas de Lorca, Telefónica, Gas Natural, which have assumed the cost of the work.
