Employment Councilwoman City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, has reported the wide range of improvement works being carried to term by the municipal councils in the districts of the town and the district of San Cristobal.

Ibarra stated that "all this makes investment amounting to more than 3 million euros will go to improving the quality of life of citizens from the districts that will be replaced as sewers and service supply drinking water as well as burying electric utilities, lighting and communications, particularly by improving the accessibility of the streets.
The Social Program of the Comprehensive Plan Barrios Altos has involved more than 450 students from local schools, projects and Polity Press Room 3, the last project under the grant received belonging to Urban Initiative, co-financed by ERDF. "
