PSOE: "Eulalia Ibarra is the" terminator "of employment in Lorca" (13/07/2009)

Note from PSOE:

The Socialist Councillor Maria Ponce regretted that despite the national decline in unemployment figures, they have continued to rise in the town of Lorca.

Statistics for the month of June, indicate that there are 136 more unemployed in the City of the Sun and the overall number has now reached 6029.

A "sad record" by which "the PP government team would have to assume political responsibilities," he said.

Ponce called the alderman responsible, Eulalia Ibarra, as the 'termitator' employment in Lorca.

He recalled that since taking responsibility, has tripled the number of unemployed in the municipality.

The PSOE said it was "a shame" that the heavy investment the Government of Spain for boosting employment, are falling on deaf ears in Lorca, when neighboring municipalities, there are indicators "positive and encouraging."

In his "totally ineffective" must be added, according to the socialist mayor, the "audacity" of a lady who is more concerned with masking the Central Government's investment, with its ghostly PIMUN Plan, which address the situation of the unemployed.

In this regard, he criticized him for the unemployed in Lorca "cares a damn" because their only interest is "to be the spokesman of sectarianism and manipulation"

Ponce said that Ibarra should be ashamed to check the "complete failure" of his political.

He said that "the more resources the city of Lorca receives less benefit of citizens" and that is the result of a government team that is not the height and "squandering public resources without any result."

In this regard, the Socialist councilor asked how many people have been put through training courses, for which the city of Lorca has received more than five million euros.

On the other hand, Mary Ponce thanked the Plan E, which has increased the number of workers in the construction sector in Lorca.

Still, he stressed the need for "Local government workers look tanning, textile, and automotive trade" that has "completely abandoned."

Jobs in Agriculture

Maria Ponce called outright "false" statements from the council on Employment, Eulalia Ibarra, in which it attributes the increase in unemployment in the agricultural sector to the lack of irrigation water.

Ponce said the "desire to manipulation" of Ibarra and Lorca said that farmers are considering at this time destroying the production of watermelon because it has no release.

This means, according to the mayor, that the problems of the sector in the municipality are not "no water", but the very poor prices paid to producers.

In that regard, he recalled that Europe is the main area of decision making in this regard and are very popular who dominate the European institutions "with its policy of liberalization and deregulation wild."

Ponce asked him to stop making such ridiculous statements "that leave evidence" and demonstrate their complete ignorance on the subject.
