The PSOE proposed a Decalogue to minimize the impact of the works in the center (21/07/2009)

The Socialist Councillor Isabel Casalduero, today introduced the motion in which the Socialist Municipal Group asked in Parliament next Monday the launch of a dozen measures to minimize the impact of the works in the center of Lorca.

The Socialist councilor who will defend the motion in Parliament, also asked to enable the City park and ride free in the garden of the Wheel and institutes and Ibáñez Giner Ros Martin, and other places where feasible.

Also asked to establish a line of minibuses free to communicate these areas to downtown.

The PSOE also require that the PP government team requiring the successful tenderers for the works the adequacy of pedestrian road where it runs, in which already have been some falls.

The works referred to include the streets Puente La Alberca, Santo Domingo, Lope Gisbert, Prince Alfonso, Lane Boilermakers, Abenhalaj Admiral Aguilar, and Priest Emilio García Navarro, which makes a large improvement of infrastructure in the supply networks, sanitation and street lighting, as well as the channeling of services such as telecommunications and electricity.

The project, with a total budget of nearly 3.3 million euros, will be financed exclusively by the government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero through E. Plan
