More than a dozen young people from the districts during this month have managed spaces in these areas (23/07/2009)

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar has closed this morning, the first activity took place during the month of July.

Participants have received in return a bond redeemable at various establishments in the city.

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, has reported that the program "Youth Action 1.1" has completed its first performance since he started.

This first action has been performed in full during the month of July and it has taken part more than 20 young unemployed people who also live in neighborhoods that have benefited from their actions.

Young people have participated in this training activity with great interest.

This is a project that takes shape in a highly satisfactory occupational work by nature of its innovation and participation response obtained by the young people focused activity.

The mayor has indicated that the program's objectives have been met, since the young unemployed have worked with small restorations of the common areas of his district in exchange for vouchers redeemable at stores in the city.

The tangible facts that have been completed by young people have focused on a signaling pathway, as well as carrying out restoration work of banks and plaster areas and cleaning gullies, among other actions .

Francisco Jodar said that "these kinds of initiatives that promote the vocational training and encourage the care of these neighborhoods are very important today.

The young unemployed have one hand training that can serve to reinforce the search for a job, and secondly, there is the opportunity to see their finished work, enriching their personal development. "

Youth Councilman Joaquin Ruiz Montalvan said that "this is one of the actions of the Youth Action Programme 1.1, a program that aims to focus on these times in performances that reinforce employment in the sector that suffers most from the crisis and will continue until December with a total of eleven activities. "
