Este programa tiene como principales objetivos:

  • Descentralizar la información facilitándole a los jóvenes el acceso a ella.

  • Ofrecer a la juventud la posibilidad de informar a sus compañeros y de esta manera favorecer la maduración personal y la participación ciudadana, fomentando una educación en valores para aprender a aprender, pensar y desarrollar el espíritu crítico.

  • Difundir, en institutos, bibliotecas, museos y universidades, información generada por el Instituto de la Juventud y los Informajóvenes locales.

  • Recabar la información de las actividades que se organizan por o para los jóvenes, desde las diferentes instituciones donde se desarrolla el programa.

  • Llegar al mayor número de jóvenes posible.

  • Potenciar los Informajóvenes locales, favoreciendo la igualdad entre los jóvenes urbanos y rurales haciendo llegar que la información a localidades y núcleos de población que antes carecían de ella.

  • Ampliar la Red Regional de Servicios de Información Juvenil con los SIJ de las instituciones participantes.
