The City of Lorca national media presents the "First National Olympiad Leisure" (01/12/2009)

The councilman of Youth council of Lorca, the president of Youth Council of Spain, the General Director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, and the president of Youth Council of the Region of Murcia and Lorca explained in Madrid's largest participation event and youth of the country to be held in Sun City in July 2010

The councilman of Youth council of Lorca, Joaquin Ruiz Montalban, Chairman of the Youth Council of Spain, Daniel Lostao, the General Director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, Veronica Lopez, and Chairman of the Youth in the Region of Murcia and Lorca, Agustin Llamas, presented this morning to the national media, the largest youth event participation and 2010, the "I National Olympiad Leisure."

This event, organized by the municipality of Lorca, through the Municipal Institute of Lorca Consistory Youth, aims to bring together at days 1, 2, 3 and 4 July 2010 in the town of Lorca to more than 20,000 young people willing to enjoy leisure 12 tests, where participants, aged between 18 and 30, representing their regions, and coexist in different spaces with young Olympians throughout the country.

The 12 tests chosen for this first edition of the Olympic committee, formed by young people who coordinated the Olympics, have the characteristics of being activities that young people often do in their spare time and mostly be spectacular and fun to face the audience .

These tests are: Paintball, Graffiti, Street Gang Battle, Kart, football, Videogames, Batalla de Gallos, Videostreet, Percussion, Circus and Skate.

Collaborating on this project the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, the Youth Council of Spain, the Youth Council of the Region of Murcia and Lorca City Council who are committed to making a big festival where youth leisure throughout Spain to exchange experiences, culture, friendship, commitment and establish a large coexistence of youth participation only in Spain.

The presentation was held in Madrid in the premises of the Youth Council of Spain at 11:30 am and the same, both Daniel and Veronica Lopez Lostao have highlighted the important role regional and national level that the Municipal Youth has been making in recent years, strengthening its programs and youth to be a reference out of bounds.

"Betting on an event of this size at this time is very valuable and important benefit, both economically and socially, for the town of Lorca," stressed Lee.

Joaquin Ruiz Montalvan, promoter of the idea through IMJUVE, stressed the originality of the project that achieves leisure gather evidence that young people use in their daily lives, living together and participating in the same place as a great festival of entertainment, commitment and involvement of different regions with the young participants and all directed through the values of the Olympic Spirit, coexistence, mutual understanding, achievement, solidarity and fair play.
