The Security Center Ramonete Territorial closes the belt of new police and emergency infrastructure in Lorca (14/01/2010)

In the last twelve months have completed the works of Almond and barracks Hoya, and are under way for those located in the towns of Lorca, Zarcilla Palm and Ramonete Purias

The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, today placed the first stone of Territorial Security Center in the hamlet of Ramonete Lorca, whose works completed by the end of the year and will cover Some 3,000 residents of the hamlets of Ramonete, Morata, Garrobillo Carrasquilla and Puntarrón.

This new infrastructure belt close the new police and emergency infrastructure in Lorca, complete with new headquarters Almendricos and La Hoya, in full operation since last summer, and those in the towns of Lorca, Palm Zarcilla and Puri, all under construction.

The work involves the construction of a new municipal building on a plot in the rural town of Las Librilleras this hamlet, near the Health Centre with a budget of 225,000 euros, of which the Autonomous Community brings 200,000.

The new infrastructure consists of 280 square meters on two floors with garage, offices, rooms, public service office, changing rooms and bedrooms, and it will serve ten agents of Public Safety Special Units of the Region of Murcia, the 40 Public Safety Plan allocated to the municipality of Lorca, with a total of 140 local police officers.

Security coverage around the town of Lorca

A center with the same features are being built in the district of Puri Lorca, designed to meet the needs both in this parish police as Campillo, listening and watering places.

Also under construction is the new Security Center Lorca Integral located Sutullena, which provide coverage to the entire city of Lorca, and Palm Zarcilla center, which houses both the strength of local police and emergency and will serve to Zarcilla de Ramos, El Rincon, La Paca, Doña Inés, Coy, Avilés and Zarzadilla of Totana.

In addition, the hamlets of La Hoya and Almendricos have since last summer with their respective safety centers, and opened and still active.

The first provides coverage to residents of La Hoya, Tercia, Marchena and fennel, and the second Almendricos, Pozo Higuera, La Campana and La Escarihuela.

The Minister stressed the importance of these actions, involving a total investment of 5.4 billion euros, of which 3,550,000 are provided by the Autonomous Community, and "intended to satisfy the demands of the inhabitants of these districts and improve police efficiency and security in Lorca. "
