As a result of the archaeological work carried performing at the Castillo de Lorca since 2002, was exposed part of the medieval Jewish quarter of the town of Lorca, along with the remains of the synagogue.
This urban area characterized by localized within the walls of the fortress, highlighting the castellated Jewish trait.
In his own presents several households, whose organization has terraces and irregular street layout typical of medieval towns.
At the second conference of this cycle, there will be a description of the archaeological remains discovered in the Jewish quarter of Lorca and an analysis of the research currently being developed.
It also exposed what the future of Jewish Heritage in Lorca.
In this lecture, participate Angel Iniesta, Archaeologist Heritage Service of the Department of Fine Arts and Cultural Assets of the Region of Murcia, and Juan Garcia, Director of the archaeological work of the Jewish Quarter of Lorca in 2002.

The lectures will start at 16.30h and will be held at the headquarters of CECLOR, except for the closing conference to be conducted in the cistern of the sea wall at the Fort of the Sun
